Heath Well (pronounced like the “weath” in “weather”) is a paralegal in Nilson Brand Law’s Fargo Office. They work closely with attorneys Ashley Heitkamp, Lynn Slaathaug Moen, and Scott Brand to assist with various family law cases. Much of their time is focused on assisting with parenting investigations, custody evaluations, and guardian ad litem cases. They also help with divorce and custody litigation. Heath is a rostered Parenting Investigator and lay Guardian ad Litem in North Dakota.
Heath has prior experience providing in-depth training for legal document services, which ensures that Heath knows how to problem solve the ins and outs of legal documents throughout cases. Heath also supports the firm by troubleshooting technology issues. Heath’s knack for helping others make them a go-to-person when paralegals and attorneys need help.
Heath received their associate degree in Paralegal Studies at Lake Superior College of Duluth, Minnesota. They are a member of the Red River Valley Paralegal Association and serve on the Board of Directors.
Heath grew up near Mapleton, North Dakota and now resides in West Fargo with their husband, daughter, and two cats. Outside of work, Heath enjoys learning about history and science through podcasts and videos while cycling through multiple creative hobbies depending on their current interests. In the past they have dived deep into close-up nature photography, sewing, painting, and cross stitching.
