She found her passion in the paralegal field through mentorship while working in workers’ compensation law in Bemidji, Minnesota. She has since had the opportunity to train under some of whom she feels are the toughest paralegals in Minnesota; ranging in areas of law such as Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, Medical Malpractice, Bankruptcy, Business Law, Criminal Defense and Prosecution, Elder Law, Employment Law, Estate Planning, Family Law, and General Litigation. She often calls herself a “Jane” of all trades and has been known to fix the kitchen sink if the challenge arose.
From co-founding a small local charity group: A.S.K. (Acts of Sincere Kindness) in Alexandria, Minnesota, to coordinating the annual Melby Daze Cancer Run and Summer Festival charity event in memory of her sister, Shanna has always put her energy toward striving to hold a meaningful place in the community around her.
